These wonderful vintage Art Deco earrings were made in England during the early 1920's. The large diamond shaped bezeled drops move gracefully under the finely detailed shepherd's hook tops. Unique to England, Blue John is Britain's rarest mineral first discovered at Castleton by the Romans almost 2000 years ago. These are the worlds only known deposits of this extremely rare and beautiful stone. In excellent condition, these beautiful earrings weigh 4.1 grams, test as sterling silver and measure 1 and 1/4 inches by 5/8 of an inch.
