Antique French Bangle Bracelet with Griffin Motif, 18k Pierced & Engraved c. 1880

Serpents and griffins seems to frolic and play in a garden of trumpeting plants and flowering columns. A masterpiece of design, this bangle just gets more and more intriguing the longer you spend with it.

Completely hand made by a master craftsman, this bangle is hand pierced and elaborately hand engraved. Made in France around 1880, the bangle is marked with the French eagles head mark and a French makers mark, it is a lovely buttery yellow glowing 18 karat gold. The bangle is in superb condition with a lovely overall patina and no dings or dents. It is quite thick and weighs a luxurious 34.2 grams. It is 1 inch wide and would fit a wrist up to 7.5 inches.
