For sale is a vintage Navajo made Turquoise and Silver Squash Blossom necklace. It is Sterling silver as are the beads. The makers mark a sun is found on the back of the Naja. The turquoise in this necklace is simply AMAZING, and the pictures just do not do it justice. This turquoise is vintage large pieces likely from Cypreus Sierrita Mine in Nevada. It has 2 shades of blue, sky blue and robin's egg blue and green with gold, and brown matrix. Simply the most gorgeous turquoise I have seen. This necklace is vintage likely 1970's. The necklace measures 26 inches in length and has a total of 11 large turquoise stone. The Naja pendant measures 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches wide. The silver has a wonderful vintage patina to it. The beading is amazing . It is a wonderful example of vintage Native American made jewelry. We live in Northern Arizona, close to the Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi Reservation and we buy our items from licensed dealers. This a gorgeous necklace you will love for a life time, very elegant.
