Antique Embossed Postcard-Young Girl at Dinner Table with her Dog w/Napkin,-With Holly, Berries & Red Bow-"Merry Christmas Series 403"-Unused

Years ago I purchased 50 unused antique embossed Christmas postcards from the “Merry Christmas Series 403”; there are also duplicates of some. They are all in mint or near mint condition, with the exception of one. The back of the postcards are unused; no writing, stamps or postal marks. I will be listing a few at a time.

This is such an adorable antique postcard. As you can see, a young girl is sitting at the dinner table, her plate of food and utensils in front of her. She has her puppy dog on her lap and she’s tying a large white napkin around the dogs’ neck. Below this is holly, berries and a large red bow. The caption reads: “Christmas Greetings”, with “Merry Christmas Series 403” right below this; both are done in silver.

The card is 3 ½” X 5 ½”.

The condition is near mint, with only a teensy bit of edge wear on the upper right edge & tip (see pic).
