You are looking at beautiful blue ceramic hanging planter, which features creamy white flowers on the front only; I believe this is referred to as the “cameo” design. Although unsigned, I was informed this is an older Weller piece from the 30’s. Please note there is a variance in color along the front rim (see pic).
The color is gorgeous French blue, which is unlike any others I have seen. There are three holes, one in the front and two in the back; this holds the hooks/chains for hanging. I have all three original hooks but only two chains. I imagine it should be fairly easy to either match the existing two chains, otherwise three chains will need to be purchased. I left one hook/chain in since it’s held in place rather tightly, and I didn’t want to pry apart the hook to undue it.
The bottom of the planter has a separate piece to catch over-flowing water.
The hanging planter is approximately 6” in diameter & is 5 ¼” deep, not counting the over-flow piece.
The condition is excellent, with no chips or cracks. There is overall light crazing & the back of the bottom water over-flow is a bit dirty (see pic).
This is a lovely Art Pottery piece, which will certainly add a special touch to any room.
