Framed 1920's French Metallic & Multi-Color Ribbon Roses Appliqué-Rare Large Size

This is the largest & most ornate French metallic/ribbon rose's appliqué I have ever seen. Just look at the gold metallic edges on the ribbon roses. Better yet, it appears to have never been used; it's been placed in a frame & is on top of off white satin with glass covering it.

I'll let the photos do most of the "talking".

The appliqué alone is 10 3/8" across the bottom from lace end to end & 7 3/8" tall from bottom of fan to lace edge. The frame is approx. 15" across the center portion, 11 ¾" down & 7/8" deep.

The appliqué is in never used condition. The satin background is clean but there are flecks from the frame. The frame has a 7/8" long piece missing, as you can see in the photos. This area could be touched up using antique gold paint. There are a few small/ minor paint chips as well. The back has a wire hanger. There are nails holding the cardboard back on, along with old tape; there is some tape missing at the top and bottom (the tape is curled up at the bottom).

Whether you hang this or use the appliqué, you will absolutely love it; it's a rare & wonderful piece of old French ribbon & metallic work.
