Pretty in Pink 1920-30's Wicker Waste Basket with Barbola Swags

The Barbola swags are featured on both sides of the basket, and each swag measures approx. 10" long (measured along the curve).

The entire basket is pink, including the bottom and inside. Although this is old pink paint, there are a few areas here and there, where the pink paint has chipped off; this reveals old paint in other colors.

The Barbola swags feature roses done in deep rose & blue/lavender, with green leaves.

The basket measures approximately 12" across the top, 8" across the base & it is 11 ½" tall.

The overall condition is very good, with the normal chippy paint in areas (not many, though). The Barbola swags have cracks in a few areas, along with minor paint loss (again, quite minor). Like many old wicker pieces, this basket is a bit "off kilter"; it leans a bit to one side. If this bothers you, I imagine you could add something at the bottom to make it even. The wicker is in excellent condition, with no missing or crack pieces, although it is a bit dirty in areas & could use a good cleaning/wiping off. All in all, it's in wonderful condition.

This basket would make a wonderful addition to any Paris Apt./Chic not Shabby décor.
