This 1930's round wedding tiara crown & veil has such a beautiful, delicate look to it.
As you can see, it features white wax buds, small silvery white color buds, along with fabric flowers, which are starched to retain their shape. Each flower has a round "stamen"; I don't believe they are wax. Each stem & bud is attached to wire, so it's bendable. The
The tiara tapers gradually to the back. An old white net veil is attached, so it's all ready to use or to display. There are three elastic loops on the inside; one at the front and one on each side. I imagine this is for attaching the veil, if desired.
The overall condition of the tiara is excellent; the net veil has a few imperfections. The netting is loose in two areas along the tiara's bottom edge, so it appears torn. It just needs to be gathered & sewn, which is an easy fix. There are also some small/medium tears towards the top, which you can't see unless you separate the netting. If you gather this area & sew it to the tiara, it will blend in. Please note there isn't a comb to attach to your hair, so one will need to be added if it's going to be used. All in all, this vintage tiara is in wonderful condition.
The circumference of the tiara is approx. 14 ½"; it is 4 ½" from side to side & 4 ¾" from front to back. The net veil is approx. 34" long.
The new owner will absolutely love this vintage wedding tiara; it's gorgeous in every way, whether you plan on using it or displaying it.
