2DIE4-Vintage Floral Quilt/Coverlet-Includes WILENDUR Red & Pink ROSES

This vintage handmade cotton quilt/coverlet is absolutely breathtaking! It definitely has that WOW factor. The person who made this had a great eye for combining just the right colors/fabrics, plus the workmanship is superb. This has been made with vintage tablecloths & three vintage hankies. As you can see, this quilt/coverlet is covered in squares of red & pink Wilendur roses, along with other beautiful floral fabric. Three squares are actually vintage hankies, which have been hand stitched to the top. Along two sides is the same floral fabric. I want to note the yellow areas you see in the photo(s) are not stains and are part of the fabric.

The back is lined in brownish plum cotton, and this too has been hand stitched to the top.

The overall condition is excellent, with the following minor imperfections to note: a teensy 1/8" hole, as seen in a photo; some of the filling has become lumpy in areas, and some areas have no filling. This can't be seen and doesn't affect the quilt/coverlet in the least. Some of the loose white cotton threads on top are missing; these are located at the edge of each square or piece of fabric (see photo). You really have to be looking for these minor imperfections to even see them. I had to look long and hard to find them.

This quilt/coverlet is shown on a California King bed. It would fit a King or Queen, with an added dust ruffle, but please go by the dimensions.

The dimensions are 8 Ft. long & 7 Ft. wide. I am assuming the two matching floral borders are meant to be on the sides, but it could certainly be switched to accommodate your bed.

I would call this Shabby Chic at its very best, but there is nothing Shabby about it. This vintage quilt/coverlet is truly outstanding and it would enhance any bed.
