Pair of Antique 1910 Embossed Pink Roses Birthday Cards

You are looking at two similar birthday cards, which are addressed to the same birthday boy. The back of each reads: Jessie Williams, Rock Creek, Oregon, April 7, 1910, 19th Birthday. One reads: From Edward W., the other reads: From Papa. There isn’t a postal mark or stamp on either of them. The writing is done in fine black pen.

The overall condition of each one is quite good, especially being 100 years old. Each one has overall age-related darkening/light stains on the back (see photo). They each have a crease at the bottom edge; the one with the two roses has a larger crease on the lower right hand corner (see last pic) and the other one has a small one on the lower left corner. The front of postcard also has some paper “fold” lines, which is original to the postcards and not flaws.

They each measure 5 ½” long & 3 ½” wide.

If you collect antique postcards with roses, then you will love this pair.
