This never used vintage white hand crochet edging is perfect and is all ready to use.
This was probably made to put at the end of a pillowcase, but I believe it’s long enough to add to the bottom of a slip, skirt or dress.
There is one seam, which extends from the cotton to the end of the crochet work.
Lying flat, the piece measures approximately 22 ½” long (doubled up). The overall width is 6 ¼” (2 ¾” for the cotton portion & 3 ½” for the crochet edging).
The condition is very good, with the following to note: a small 1/8” hole on the outside cotton portion (see last photo), along with a light black mark & very slight & light dirt marks. This solid cotton portion is double thickness, so the small hole isn't very noticeable. What I’ve just described is on one pillowcase trim. The other pillowcase trim has the following: The same light black mark, which may be original to the pillowcase trim, along with a couple missing stitches where the crochet trim is stitched to the cotton. This is a very minor “fix”. I believe I’ve captured everything in my photos.
This trim will enhance any item.
