This vintage bib style hand beaded necklace has so much detail to it; it is also much prettier in person as the silvery glisten from the clear beads was difficult to capture.
As you can see, this necklace is very full; it features 31 double strands of hand beading, which is attached to a hand beaded choker band.
There are varying lengths of strands, ranging from 2 ¾” at the end to 6” in the center, with varying lengths in between. Each strand features faux white pearls at the bottom. There are a couple strands which don’t have the faux pearls at the tip, but are knotted. I’m not sure if it was made this way or not.
There is a hand beaded “ball” on each side of the band, along with four hand beaded loops, to allow for size adjustments. The neck size ranges from 15 ½”, 14 ½”, 13 ½” & 12 ½”. Lying flat, the entire neck band, including the loops is approx. 18 ½” long. From beaded ball to beaded ball, the band measures 12” long.
The condition is excellent, with the minor imperfections noted above.
Whether you dress necklace up or down, it will certainly enhance any outfit.
