Antique Dated 1888 Cut Glass Perfume Atomizer-Near Mint

You are looking at an absolutely stunning cut glass perfume atomizer (it may be crystal, but I'm not sure). This is the oldest perfume bottle I have ever had and better yet, it's dated. As you can see, around the pewter color base it reads: Patented 1888.

The overall detail work is very ornate; the pewter color top features scrollwork on both sides. The cut glass base has a beautiful deep diamond cut design, which also features a raised dot design in some areas.

I had the gray atomizer bulb w/tassel professionally added. If you prefer the bulb without the tassel, you can cut it off. I wanted the new owner to have the option of both, as it's a personal preference.

The condition is amazing: it is in near mint condition, with only one or two minuscule flea bites that I found with a magnifying glass. The bottom of the bottle has minor scratches, which is to be expected. The bottom also shows there is some residue inside the bottle, but it's not bad at all.

The bottle is 6 1/8" tall, to the spray tip. The bottle only is approximately 3 3/8" tall to the metal base & 2" wide.

If you are a collector of perfume bottles or atomizers, this is a must have; it's both gorgeous and usable.
