Vintage Black Wool Felt Poss. Beaver Hat/Tam w/Five Ornate Metallic & Faux Pearl Appliqués

There is a separate moveable ½" wide band in the front which features five appliqués, two large & three small; the band is done in the wool/or poss. Beaver. In back of this band is another band, done in 1" wide black grosgrain ribbon.

The smaller appliqués are located at each end of the band, with one in between the two larger appliqués. The two large appliqués are on each side of the front & measure 2" across & 1 ¼" top to bottom of the metallic portion. The larger appliqués are done in antique gold metallic threads with faux pearls & three red glass stones. The smaller appliqués do not have the faux pearls on them; the appliqués are ½" in diameter.

Each side has a 1 ½" wool & grosgrain extension which is wired; this holds the hat in place while it's being worn. The entire inner edge of the hat has 5/8" wide black grosgrain ribbon and is wired, so I imagine it can be fitted according to your head size. The inner circumference is approx. 22".

The condition is excellent; there are no flaws to note.
