This is one of my favorite Frances Brundage girls, who is wearing a purple cape over her blonde wavy hair, with a bouquet of pansies off to one side. An illustration of this litho is shown on page 126 in the book "A Bit of Brundage".
This antique flue cover features an antique gold border with black detail as well. There is pewter color 1/8" wide metal border surrounding the entire piece. There is a cardboard backing, which is original to the piece, along with the original metal hanger with a 1 ¾" drop.
The overall condition is very good to excellent, with only small light rust spots surrounding the young girl (see pics) and a separate light rust spot to the right by her hair. The glass cover is in excellent condition.
The flue cover is 7 ¾" in diameter.
If you collect antique flue covers or Frances Brundage items, you will absolutely love this piece.
