1940 Fenton Ivory Crest Square Crimped Hat Vase

Fenton is well know for their "Crested" lines, but the "Ivory Crest" is one of the most limited in production. "Ivory Crest" is a custard yellow with a clear crest around the edge. It was produced from 1940 to 1941 and was made using uranium salts. Uranium is what gives the glass its deep cream color and restrictions on the use of uranium during World War II marked the end of custard glass and "Ivory Crest".

This piece is the Square Crimped Hat Vase. It stands 5" tall and is 6.25" across the widest point. The top rim is double crimped and formed in a square shape.

It is in very good condition, NO CHIPS, CRACKS, STAINS OR REPAIRS.
