This is a RARE and very hard to find piece of Westmoreland Glass. This is a Pickle Jar / Vase in milk glass. Pickle Jars were made by Westmoreland in the late 1800's for actually holding pickles. This jar was made as a re-issue by Westmoreland in 1926 up until 1932. The original pickle jars were not made in milk glass, plus the top edge is ground and the originals were not. I believe they made five different jars and I have been looking for over a year for this exact one on-line but have not seen another one.
This jar measures 10.25" tall. It is mold blown and has a blown out pattern of grapes alternating with lattice.
It is in EXCELLENT condition, NO CHIPS, CRACK, STAINS OR REPAIRS. It has the impressed mark of the W over the G on the bottom. It comes from a smoke-free home.
