This beautiful vintage perfume caddy was made between 1955 and 1977. The porcelain egg caddy stands about 5" tall. It is a three piece caddy with a base and two sides of the egg. It is white and ornately decorated in gold with gold roses on each side. When you open the egg you will find two small perfume bottles. They are 2" tall and in the shape of a violin. Each has a glass dauber. They sit inside fancy gold toned holders. The center post is spring loaded and you push down on the top to release the sides. It is well marked on the bottom with the mark from Goumot-Labesse Limoges, Made in France. The bottles are marked on the bottoms "French Bottle". They are very good quality and could very well be Baccarat.
It is in very good condition with NO DAMAGE OR REPAIRS. I sometimes have a hard time getting the interior hook to catch on one side, but I am sure this is minor and I will let the collector tinker with this.
