This doll has graced my personal collection for over 20 years. She is very rare - marked M8 on the back of her head. This mark is attributable to the firm of May Freres Cie, a french maker of dolls between 1890-1897. This doll is a particularly beautiful example with lovely pale bisque and huge brown paperweight glass eyes. Her bisque head is perfect from any restoration or damage. She has her original coil attachment to her french composition body with straight wrists and straight legs. The waist is narrow like a lady. She is wearing an amazing couture two piece dress made from wonderful cream wool with silk trim. Her darling straw hat was made to match her outfit. She has maroon earrings and her cork pate with a replacement lambskin wig. She has pink socks, antique undergarments and lovely antique kid leather shoes with buckles. She even comes with a little leather purse. This beauty can be yours on layaway with just $400 down provided the remainder is paid in 15 monthly installments or less.
