This is the prettiest DEP antique doll I've seen. She was commissoned from Simon & Halbig by Jumeau/SFBJ for the French market in the late 1890's. She's huge, standing 29" tall and has a wonderful french composition and wooded fully jointed body in excellent condition. Her bisque head is free from any restoration or hairlines - just a few minor white areas not in the features (wig pulls). She is marked DEP on the back of her head with the number 14 on the lower neck. She has lovely creamy bisque, huge blue glass eyes, and a closed mouth, with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips. She also has pierced ears with earrings. Her clothing is to die for - extravagant antique white lace dress with layer and layers of undergarments. Since the dress is stitched on, I didn't want to break the stitches to remove it. She wears antique black leather shoes with buckles. She comes with an antique red velvet cap with matching red feathers. This dollis a beauty and you will be shocked to see how wonderful she is in person. She has an antique brown human hair wig that is nice and full. She can be yours on layaway with just $300 down provided the remainder is paid in 9 monthly payments or less.
