This is a wonderful pair of Chelsea figurines that date to the late 1800's early 1900's. They are marked with a gold anchor. They stand almost 9" tall and are nice heavy pieces. They have excellent facial modeling and painting. The quality reminds me of Meissen or Samson as you can see each individual strand of hair. The man is playing a hurdy gurdy (one end professionally repaired) while the woman dances. Excellent overall condition.
