Antique Limoge Handpainted Tankard with Grapes

Wonderful 15" handpainted Limoges tankard featuring beautiful grapes. The grapes hang in bunches among the vine ready to pick and enjoy.

Turning the piece at various angles, one can enjoy grapes of green, purple or red. The skill of the artist with shading and flow of theme is remarkable.

A delicate gold band is noted at both the upper and lower rim of the piece. Delicate black ink detail work is noted at the handle.

Artist signed and dated: F Blanchard 1907.

Mold marked:Guerin, Mark 3, ca 1900-1932.

In great condition with no chips, cracks, or dings.
