A wonderful 12" handpainted tankard pitcher featuring beautiful blackberries and blossoms. Detailed purple berries cascading from the vines among green, yellow , and golden leaves and stems.

Excellent background highlighting. Fabulous gold trimmed rim and highlights including handle and beading. An approx 3/8" nick is noted to the handle, under original painted glaze (see closeup).

Artist signed: Lewis No mold mark. Similarly seen pieces are marked Bavaria.
