A fabulous handpainted chocolate set featuring a 14" (top of finial) chocolate pot and 4, matching petite cups and saucers. The cups measure 2 1/2" high and 2 1/2" wide at the rim. The delicate porcelain saucers measure 4 1/2" wide.
The chocolate pot and cups are decorated with bunches of leaves and small blue-purple berries hanging on the vine. Rich painting and shading are noted using gold, rust, yellow, orange and shades of red. The colors fade as you look down the pot to note the delicately painted leaves and berry accents. Small vines connect the bunches of leaves and berries. A looped, perfect handle is painted to match the expert coloring of the pot. The cups are painted with the same attention to detail as the pot noting the eaves and berries. Shading details match those of the pot. The delicate saucers and painted to match the pot and the color fades, almost circular to the color palette of the cups and the pot. The lid to the pot features a "looped" accent and is perfectly painted to match the colors of the pot and cups.
