Antique Limoge Handpainted Bowl with Strawberries

Hanging in groups from the vine, the berries are noted with rich reds, maroons, yellows, pink, and gold. Execution of the berry features seeds, blooms, and seeds.

The entire bowl is noted to have a gold painted border to the rim. Along the base, at the junction of the gold painted feet, are many raised beads that have been painted in gold.

In wonderful condition, the bowl is painted both inside and out.

Artist initialed: ST

Mold marked: T & V Limoges, France, patent applied for. A non readable word in noted above the T & V mark. Most likely ca., 1894-1907. T & V often patented their mold designs or shapes prior to production.
