Vintage Condensed Milk Container Decorated with Blackberries
The beautiful berries are shades of blue and purple with delicate blooms noted as well. Realistic vines and leaves are noted across the container.
A fine gold band encircles the top of the container, as well as the circumference of the underplate.
The container is a slight bulbous in shape and features the characteristic hole at the base used to push jams, jellies, or sweetened milk out of the container.
The underplate is 6" diameter and decorated with the same beautiful decoration.
The container is mold marked with a "W" in a vase with Austria under it for H Wehinger and Co, after 1918 and a gold mark in an oblong circle; writing is blurred, but Slovania is legible. The underplate is marked with the same "W" in a vase and the abbreviated Czech. Slov. in green.
