Antique Pickard Bowl with Grapes by Beutlich

A wonderful 8 1/2" diameter bowl featuring the highly desireable linear grapes by the famed Pickard artist, Anton Beutlich.

This beautiful bowl features spectacular purple and green grapes with incredible mastery of gold highlighting and detailing. Each grape is artfully framed with a touch of gold and the delicate veins of the leaves area also highlighted by gold markings.

Shading, blending of colors, and attention to detail help to make this an incredible piece of art.

Liberal use of gold is also noted at the inner and outer rim of the bowl, as well as at the base.

Beutlich worked at the Pickard decorating Studios at various times throughout his career and is well known for the "steadiness of his hand and the mastery of subtle shading."

This bowl stands 2 1/2" high.
