Rare German Character Child "Patsy" by Hertel & Schwab #127

This rare doll is thought to be the precursor of the popular Effanbee composition Patsy. It was never put into general production and is therefore very hard to fine. If you are a collection of "Patsy" this is where she began. She has fine quality bisque and dress, a good body with some crazing and a very minor paint wear on her right cheek, right toe rubbed and a right index tip off.She is marked 127/ Germany and is 17" in length. Her bisque socked head has a cut neck socket. Her molded brown hair is brown and her glass sleep eyes are brown. She has a very tiny bow mouth with 2 teeth. Her body is five - piece jointed.
