COMMENTS:This wonderful little glass dresser jar has a classic and simple hand cut pattern. Made by Foster & Bailey, silversmiths of Providence, Rhode Island, who used the makers mark on this lid from 1878 until 1898. The lid has a classic beaded design . It has not been cleaned and has a nice patina. There is one small ding on the outer edge of the lid and I see and feel no chips in the glass.
