Egyptian Revival 14k Yellow Gold Scarab Bracelet 6 Different Stones

GEMS: 6 scarabs measuring 18 X 12 mm each. Bloodstone, Zoisite, Tiger Eye, Aventurine, Amethyst & Banded Agate.

CONDITION: Estate Item, Excellent

COMMENTS: This bracelet was purchased from a local estate. It has an interesting mix of colors in the scarabs. During the time of the Egyptians, stone-carved scarabs were used as magical amulets, supposedly aiding its wearer with the power of "eternal renewal of life."

This bracelet dates to the second Egyptian revival era, early 1920's to 50's. The fascination of all things Egyptian came about because of the archaeological find of King Tut's tomb.
