I am presenting this most glorious brooch/pin. It is from the early 20th Century and is of Edwardian design.
The brooch shows two adorable birds sitting on a branch and conversing. The birds bodies are made of jade. One a deep green and the other a pale green shade. They each have a ruby eye. The end of the branch contains a nice cultured pearl.
The birds are set in front of a background of flowers, done with gold stems and round gemstone tops. There are eleven of them. I will try to name as many stones as I can identify. I see five peridot and a pink tourmaline as well as what I believe are two topaz stones. Please let me know if you can identify the rest.
The brooch has been carefully acid tested by us and our jeweler as 10 karat gold. There are no markings on it. The clasp is a safety style, but one used in early 20th Century pieces.
It measures 1 1/2" in length and 1" at its tallest point. It weighs 10.7 grams. It is excellent condition.
Referenced shipping cost is inclusive of signature delivery confirmation, as required by paypal on all purchases exceeding $250.00.

Thanks so much for looking.
