These lovely plates were made by Meissen in the mid 19th Century. they were probably part of a dinner set, but could be used today for display or add to your own china service.
They are hand painted and are painted in the color referred to as mulberry and very popular at this time.
They have a lovely central floral theme and have a scalloped rim. They measure 10" in diameter.
The plates are in good condition, except for a small chip to the underside inner standing rim on one of the plates. They are marked with the blue crossed swords underglaze and one plate has some small numbers which are difficult to decipher.
