Beautifully Carved Ivory Netsuke Horse and Monkey

It is carved quite well and shows a sitting horse, with a monkey holding on to the horse's rear.

This fine ivory carving measures 1 3/4" in length 1 1/4" in height. It is in good condition.

Note, this piece was purchased from a reputable auction house, and represented as pre-ban ivory; Nevertheless, since this is ivory, it will not be shipped outside of the United States.
