Crescent China Bowl in Silverplate Holder - 1901

This is such a wonderful little serving dish. Use it for mints, candy, mayo or whatever, to impress your guests.

It has a classic Victorian style and was made by Crescent and Sons China in England and is marked as such. It bears an English registry mark which would date the piece to 1901.

The lovely china bowl or dish has a white background with a pretty floral design on both the exterior and interior rim. The exterior rim is painted a pale blue and has a raised design in addition to the flowers.

The china bowl sits in an elegant silverplate holder with a swing handle and four round feet, which is company hallmarked on the bottom. It will display beautifully in your home and prove quite useful when entertaining.

The bowl measures 3 1/4" in height with a 3 1/2" diameter at the top. The holder is 7 1/2" high including the handle and has a 4 1/2" diameter at the base.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint wear. The silverplate is nice and shiny and shows no sign of wear.
