Antique 19th Century Chinese Export Famille Rose Teapot

This lovely piece has wonderful pink and green birds and flowers painted against a white background. Unlike the more familiar Rose Medallion it does not have human figures in its design.

The teapot has a short spout and a double handle made of wire with bamboo twisted around it; a very common technique during this period.

The teapot measures approximately 5 1/2" in height not counting the handles, and is approximately 6 1/8" wide, including the spout.

It is in fine antique condition with only some slight fraying on the handles.
