This wonderful tureen is by Haviland Limoges, and is of late 19th to early 20th Century manufacture.
The piece is most likely a covered vegetable dish, but you may use it for whatever you like. The pattern shows pretty pink and blue flowers, and it has charming gilded scalloped handles and a gilded scalloped base.
The underside of the cover is marked Haviland & Co. Limoges 9268. Under the dish it is marked Haviland & Co. Limoges 9298. There is also a green mark that reads M&C L France.
The piece, including the handles measures 10 6/8" in length and is 7" wide. It is in fine antique condition, with no lines, chips or cracks.
