California USA Pottery ~ Chip & Dip w/Lazy Susan ~ Turquoise & White
Here is a classic mid 20th century Chip and Dip set with lazy Susan base. It is in 1950's - 60's turquoise and white. The bottoms of the ceramic parts are all marked "Calif USA" with "L 54" on the oblong open bowls. The Lazy Susan revolving base is made of pressed wood and has a painted top with the underside un-coated. The surface on it has some paint missing but it has been given a coat of gloss clear seal. It is 12 1/4" across the top and stands 2" high. It turns but sticks a little in spots and may need some oil on the ball bearings. The oblong open bowls are 9 x 5 x 1 5/8". The center covered bowl is 5" to the tip of the knob handle, 7" across the lid and 4" across the base. One of the white oblong bowls has a small ding to the glaze where is nestles up against the center bowl. There is one small chip on the outer edge of the center bowl which cannot be seen when the lid is on. I can find no other damage.
