Paul de Longpre NASTURTIUMS Print Vintage MINT

When it comes to flower painters, Paul de Longpre (b. 1855, d. 1911) is one of the all-time best! He was a French Victorian watercolorist, and his floral studies are beautiful. This vertical study of cheery nasturtium blooms is gorgeous. It is entitled "Fairy Lustre" and dates circa 1930, published by the New York Graphic Society.

The lithograph is in FINE condition, showing the engraver's plate mark at the edge of the study. The color hues are vivid and rich. The print is housed in a quarter-sawn oak frame with burnished brass corner embellishments, which have flowers and leaves. Overall size with the frame is aprox 13 x 17 inches. We do welcome all layaways, so have a peek in our shop for more de Longpre prints, where you can often combine purchases to save postage!
