1941 WWII Civil Pilot Training Manual Flying US Department of Commerce

This collector training manual was developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Civil Aeronautics Administration in Washington, D.C. and is the second edition, September 1941, Civil Aeronautics Bulletin No. 23. At the time it was priced for 65 cents. It was designed primarily for the use of students taking the elementary ground and flight courses and the secondary flight course of the Civilian Pilot Training Program. It is a wonderful piece of aeronautic history, and would be such a wonderful gift for the pilot!

The cover shows wear with a few stains and water marks and fraying along the bottom of the spine. Other than the first 30 pages that show a light water stain in the bottom right corner, the pages are in excellent condition.
