Early Gothic Multi Piece Slag Glass Fleur de Lis Lamp

This very early Gothic slag glass lamp (circa 1900), has a heavy spelter frame shade with multi cut out pieces of glass. The base and shade have a Fleur de Lis design, and a verdigris finish. It has nice lines, and lights up lovely. If you look at the picture of the inside of the shade you can see the amount of work this must have taken. Each piece is pinned and grouted in. There are several tight age cracks (see close up picture), that do not show light through and are not loose. It has it`s original paddle key socket, and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. A very unusual and interesting lamp! It stands 21" tall, the shade is 14" across, and the base is 5 3/4" across. Any overcharge of shipping to your area will be refunded. Thanks for looking!
