KYOTO Cherry Blossoms Pink Shell Pearl Earrings Gold Tone

These are crafted with 11mm. teardrop pink shell pearls. They are drilled at the top, and I've added silver-filled posts. Shell pearls are created from pearl nacre (the inner lining of oyster shells) also known as mother-of-pearl. I will be offering more shell pearls in future, as they are beautiful, lustrous and affordable. Because they are lab created with genuine pearl nacre, they are durable, evenly shaped and take well to color enhancement. They are the only lab-created pearls that rival Austrian Swarovski crystal pearls for beauty, in my opinion.

They hang from goldplated post wires in the shape of clusters of blossoms. They close in the back with fasteners that include plastic circles that keep the earwires straight on the lobes. They measure a total of 1 & 1/8" long.

The last scan is the ninth-century Ninnaji Temple in Kyoto at cherry blossom time.
