Art Deco Bigney Co Snake Chain Gold Filled Slide Lariat Necklace

We offer a 1920's to 1930's era slide snake chain necklace from Bigney Co. S. O. Bigney (for Sidney O. Bigney) was founded in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and manufactured high-quality jewelry from 1896 to 1946. This necklace has lots of style going for it. Lovely snake type chain with a slide of a lotus blossom type flower. The slide moves freely. There is no damage. I don't see any wear to the gold finish. The chain is approx 27 1/2 inches long. The slide is about 1 1/4 inches long. The slide is marked Bigney 1/20 12 Kt.

I see this paired with a turtle neck or high neck sweater. Possibly for an evening out with a plunging neckline. Truly a stunning piece of vintage costume jewelry.
