Mexican Sterling Silver Wood Handle Serving Fork

We offer a mid century modernist piece of Mexican Sterling Silver. It's a serving fork, most likely a salad server. It has a lovely dark wood handle. Condition is very nice with light marks from normal use and polishing. The wood is in nice condition showing little or no dryness. It has the marks of the artisan Estelle Popowski. She was active in the 1950's. The piece is about 11 1/4 inches long.

The piece is marked in 3 places on the back of the bowl. It has the eagle mark of 23. Estelles mark of an AE in a heart and Sterling, then a Sterling with an A with rays and Hecho en Mexico.

This is a delightful piece of vintage Mexican sterling. Perfect for the buffet table.
