Old Silverplate Figural Napkin Ring Putti Cherub
Here we have an old very small napkin ring in silverplate. It is unmarked as to maker or metal. The little ring is a mere 1 inch in diameter, leading me to believe it's possibly a childs'. The base is approx 2 5/16 by 1 5/8 inch. It stands about 1 3/8 inches tall. The little figure appears to be holding an object, perhaps an animal. I don't see any wings, so cherub is probably incorrect. The ring has a lovely floral engraving.
This is a very sweet piece and it would be lovely just holding a small piece of lace. A welcome addition to any figural collection.
