Blue Glass Trinket Box Lady with Jars

Here we have an old small trinket or vanity box in cobalt blue glass with a what I believe is a painted picture of a lady holding urns or jars. Rebecca at the well comes to mind. The little box has brass fittings. It is approx 2 1/8 inch in diameter. It stands approx 1 1/8 inches tall. It is glass, not porcelain. I see wear to the brass frame. The hinge and the clasp function well. I see rubbing to the gold trim on the edges and the trim. I see a couple of small scratches on the surface when I look through my loupe.

I've examined the picture closely and I don't see the dots that would tell me it's a transfer. However, I do not want to say that it is a painting either. In any case, it's a lovely old small trinket box and will make a delightful addition to a collection.
