Cameo Depression Glass Cookie Jar Green
We offer a green depression glass cookie jar in the Cameo pattern from Hocking Glass company. This pattern was produced for a short time in the early 1930's. This jar is in very good condition. I found a flake on the lid on the piece that the knob sits on. Also, the inside rim of the jar lid has some rough spots. Glass flaws as common to depression glass may include small bubble, straw marks or other inclusions. The jar is approx 7 1/2 inches tall at the knob. Someone questioned whether the knob had been glued onto the lid. It has not.
This is a bright cheery green and even if you are not a collector, this will be a nice focal point on your kitchen counter or sideboard.
