Carved Wood Russian Bear Playing Bass Fiddle
We offer a vintage 1970's or a bit earlier Russian hand carved wood bear playing the bass fiddle. These were and are popular souvenir folk art pieces that many travelers brought home with them. This is a very large size, about 11 inches tall. There is no damage. It is marked as to the workshop and other information, but we cannot make it out. It is right on the edge. There is no damage or repairs to the piece.
I think the bass playing bear has a rather soulful look on his face. I think he'd be happy if he were joined by the rest of the band.
