Nippon Hand Painted Porcelain Canned Milk Container

We offer a lovely old Nippon porcelain canned or condensed milk holder. It is decorated with handpainted roses and gilt trim. Black accents make the gold trim pop. There are no chips or cracks. There is rubbing to the gold trim especially on the handles. The container is approx 6 inches tall to the top of the lid handle. Bottom is approx 3 13/16 inch in diameter.

The Victorians had a fancy piece for every purpose. What a lovely way to serve the canned milk on the breakfast or tea table.
