Niello Silver Locket 950

We offer an old locket marked Niello Silver 950. It is approx 1 1/4 inch in diameter. The silver chain is about 16 1/2 inches long. I've tried to research Niello silver and keep coming up with watch cases. This is more of a locket, although a bit deeper than most. You could tuck a tiny memento inside the locket. The silver has some light marks from normal use and polishing. The hinge works well and the locket closes with a nice click and stays closed.

I love old lockets. Little treasure boxes, I always say. This will be a fine addition to any collection. It is old, not recent.
