Unmarked RS Prussia Plate
I believe that this is an unmarked R. S. Prussia plate. It measures 9 1/2" in diameter. It does have one manufacturer's flaw. It was left in the mold too long and thus, on the edge of the plate, where, for want of a better word, the stem is, there is a crack through the stem. This crack was glazed over and the 22k gold trim was painted over it also. I would date this from the 1920's or earlier. The mold is similar to mold #7 but not quite the same, this one has a fancier edge and the flowers are in differernt places. I don't have all of the RS books so if anyone knows the exact mold number, please email me. Happy Collecting!!!
